The bad lines on MMLP2 are few though and the dope shit far out weighs the bad puns.

Everyone who loves Relapse always ducks the accents....like that never happened. It was't bad on a few cuts but by the time you get half way through Relapse....its like good fucking god, why is he rapping in this weird stupid accent?!

MMLP2 would have been near flawlesd as far as songs go without Survival, Monstrmer, and mayyyyybe Berzerk. Still Em delivered us 17 tracks thare either great, very good, good or decent. I cant say the same about his last three.

Lmao... who ducks them? I don't 'duck' them, I LOVE them.

You say that as if it's unchangeable fact that they're bad and nobody can like them.

They don't even sound like accents to me, Em still pronounces things as American for the most part, it's just obsessive emphasis on the sounds of words...

It also just adds to this 'nutty / detached' feel he was trying to create in his voice.

I completely love it. Genuinely. He's obsessively emphasizing the sounds of words non-stop, and the flows are so razor sharp and addictive. There's no ducking, it's part of it / a plus for me.

He's only put out one, MMLP.

Sorry for the long post, didn't think it was gonna come out like this! Just some shit I felt I had to say. Feel free to ignore. :sweating:

I feel like MMLP2 is a fantastic album, and that takes a lot for me to say after having such low expectations. Survival was generic and Berzerk was a step in the right direction, but was still missing something to me. Rap God was fucking awesome, it got me hyped. But as soon as I heard Monster, all my hopes were crushed and I was officially not excited for the album. After waiting til release day to listen it, (Eminem deserves my money before I deserve to hear his album, I don't give a fuck how shitty I thought it was gonna be lol) and listening to it everyday since, I fucking love it. Several classic Shady songs, plenty of revisitations (the Parking Lot skit made me smile), punch after punch after punch, and even some production handled by Em himself, how can you not like it?

It's better than Recovery. I almost don't even like Recovery anymore, I never liked it all that much to begin with. There were a few great songs, but nothing on that album comes close to anything else he ever did. Encore was the album that made me an Eminem fan (believe it or not), the humourous songs brought me in and showed me he had a lighter side, then I really dug in to the core of it and found songs about politics, beef going in the wrong direction, a lullaby for his daughters, touching on Oh Foolish Pride, love, it was awesome. I can understand why Encore gets a bad rep (it's definitely not his best), but even as a "shitty" Eminem album, it's still better than a lot of other rap albums.

Relapse is flawless in my opinion. It was the comeback everyone craved, and he didn't go all serious and talk about Proof and his addiction as much as some people would have liked. Maybe the accents were too much for some. Maybe some thought he was trying to use controversy to step back into the limelight and reclaim the top spot. I feel like he went back into full on Slim Shady mode, Relapse was everything I wanted from a comeback Eminem album. You just can't deny his flows and rhymes on tracks like Stay Wide Awake, Must Be the Ganja (the serial killer part is one of my favourite Eminem moments ever), Hello, My Mom, Deja Vu... Relapse is amazing. It's in my top three. Not top three rap, or top three Eminem, top three period. I love it.

All that being said, MMLP2 I feel is great. Better than Encore, better than Recovery, and at least on par or one step below the rest of his stuff. Songs like Rhyme or Reason, Brainless, So Much Better and So Far reminds me of classic Shady, a Shady I never thought I'd hear again. Songs like Legacy, Beautiful Pain, Headlights and Stronger Than I Was remind me of the Eminem we met on TES, a lot more mature and personal, he allowed us a window into his personal life. The only song I hate is Monster, and honestly it's only because of Rihanna and the beat. His verses are still on point and the song is still a million times better than 85% of the other shit I'll hear on the radio for the next six months. If you can't find a reason to like MMLP2, you might as well have given up on Em last album.

Actually Nas has released a lot of better stuff than Illmatic. Stillmatic was better, It Was Written is Nas' MMLP1, by far his most popular album. Untitled is my favorite album he's done, very political.

eminem is like jordan, the bulls era being his career up until encore, that would be when jordan went to play baseball, and relapse- mmlp2 is jordan on the wizards, not as good as on the bulls but still better than everyone else

If you ever start to take peoples' opinions too seriously, remember... you are on Stan forum. Everyone here loves em as much as you do. Fuck opinions. MMLP2 is a great album, even if purely off the fact that they worked super hard on it

This is second best album ever next to the first one. It goes like this and anyone who disagrees is wrong:

MMLP>MMLP2>TES>SSLP>INFINITE>RELAPSE>Recovery>Encore

My personal fav though that's not fact like the other one just my opinion:

MMLP>MMLP2>TES>Recovery=Relapse>Encore>SSLP>Infinite

I know that SSLP is a better album that Relapse, Recovery, infinite, and Encore but I enjoy more songs on the others.
CALLED IT!
