In my opinion, they are, so is TES for that matter though.

Eminem Show is garbage?

Recovery is poop, but TMMLP2 has some really good songs on it. Mainly because Marshall's vocal delivery is really enjoyable when he uses it the way he used it on TMMLP2, as well as his older records. The production is also really crisp on TMMLP2. Rick utilized all types of samples and instruments to make the beats sound interesting.

So yeah, you've got plenty of reasons to like TMMLP2, but Eminem records are whatever you say about them.

Pretty much this.
OP, it seems like you have a certain strict idea of what an Eminem album should sound like, and any album by Eminem that doesn't really fit that mold, you think is wack.
Hence, the MMLP2/Recovery hate.
Everybody has that bias to a certain extent, that's why people's opinion of the greatest Eminem albums are so uniform... if it doesn't sound like the first 3, then it obviously can't be good, right?
Solution: listen to (and like) albums on their on merit, not based on what artist made it.
Forget the nostalgia that makes you look at the Holy Trinity through rose-tinted lenses, and just listen to the music.
