then why would he say the lines after that?
um it makes sense he says he did out of respect meaning he didn't mention "nig*a" out of respect for black people because he was white and it's wrong for a white person to say the word nig*a. It makes sense because it ties in with the battle between him and Benzino. During the battle Benzino dug up an old freestyle by Eminem called "Foolish Pride" it was a song dissing black women Eminem admitted that he recorded the song when he was 15 and he appoligized for the recording. There was also another freestyle released where the "N" word was mentioned but Eminem stated that he did not record that freestyle and that was not him on that track it was just somebody imitating Eminem. Eminem is just trying to make it clear that he is not racist.[/quote]
that would make since if it werent for:
1 he did say it and in different interviews he flat out said that he did it
and 2. he goes into this
"And that was just out of respect for not runnin' my mouth
And talkin' about something that I knew nothing about
Plus Dre told me stay out,
this just wasn't my beef
So I did, I just fell back, watched and gritted my teeth
While he's all over t.v. down talkin' a man who literally saved my life
Like fuck it i understand
its directly talking about the suge and dre beef and besides most of the official lyric sites show he says suge anyway...
