It always feels like when I say something good about EMinem on this board, I gotta look over my shoulder, for people to piss on an opinion, and shout groupie or dick-riders. It's old already. This is supposed to be a community where people respect Eminem. If people say awesome shiti about Rakim, Biggie or Tupac, no one says shit about groupie. No body has more fuckin groupie's and dick-riders than Tupac, but I never say shit, because he deserves every word of praise that comes his way. Because these rappers do something NONE of us can even nearly replicate, so let's stop the hating for once and for all.

That wasn't the purpose to my post, I`m speakin out about the use of the word groupie, it's derogatory to real fans who are fans of the music, groupie's are only after celebrity penis. FORDIE kinds of sums up pretty much everything. and Bar, take it easy man, no needed to get hot headed over peoples opinions. akon was merly giving his view of who he thinks the best rapper is. you view is nas, rakim and what not are pioneers of hip hop and are best and done something, but you dont see other juping on your back screaming die nas, fuck nas, shut up all you groupies.. because we have acknowledged your opinion.

Eminem HAS done something with Hip Hop and around the 99-2002 i believe he helped (along with others) take hip hop onto another level. He is one of the greats, he should be in the lists of the likes of Nas, Jay-Z, Tupac, Biggie and what not, but he rarley does and he doesnt get as near as much credit for what he has done in the game.

everyone has a different definition of hip-hop because of what you said before, it is a way of life. music is about relating and if more ppl relate to eminem than nas then so be it....

and you may say tupac is one of the greatest, but i know many people who would disagree because
1. he attended a performing arts school
2. he only started being 'gangsta' after he moved to the west
3. he is more of a poet vs lyricist
4. he just kept banging out tracks before he passed and ppl may say he's not great because of quality vs quantity
etc., etc., but ppl don't knock your opinions.

And I`m not gonna argue back by saying Nas this and Nas that, cos i`m a Nas fan. But, I can guarantee you if Eminem never releases another record, 10/20 years down the line, SSLP, MMLP & TES will all be considered Classics.
