His hometown is Detroit, MI.
He started his own label, Reel Life Productions at the age of 11.
He also released his first album in 1990 at the age of 13.
Since 1990 he has released over one album a year.
He influenced other Detroit artists such as Kid Rock, Eminem and Insane Clown Posse.
Boomin' Words From Hell was not only his first album it was self-released and self-produced (!) when he was a freshman in highschool.
He sold 500,000 units before Soundscan began tracking his product.
His second album, Judgment Day, featured samples from Black Sabbath to Black Flag.
Judgment Day was also rap's first double CD.
Peep Esham interviews.
Esham is also known as "The Unholy".
The name of Esham's group, NATAS, is allegedly an acronym for Nation Ahead of Time and Space, rather than "Satan" spelled backwards.
Hmmmm.......
Esham coined the term "acid rap". He is the original acid rapper.
Insane Clown Posse credits Esham as being their inspiration.
NATAS' http://WWW.Com used live instrumentation, including heavy bass guitars, indicative of Kid Rock and Korn.
Esham suffered a serious beatdown from members of D12 (fellow Detroit rappers) in the summer of 2001. It was rumored that Eminem was behind the whole thing. Esham barely walked away alive, suffering a concussion and ruptured eyeball.
His label, now called Overcore, boasts Kool Keith another hip-hop overacheiver.
Despite the aforementioned achievements, Esham is still very much underground.
I think you're a little late with the information, but thanks anyways, but I'd enjoy the tracks
