Spacebound would be another slow song after LTWYL. 25 To Life is slower as well and IMO not even all that catchy. Talkin' 2 Myself seems to be many people's favourite, but it's too close to NA in theme. They needed to mix it up with the third single and what else is there?

Won't Back Down is one of the weakest tracks on the album IMO, On Fire, Cold Wind Blows, So Bad and Almost Famous are great but not radio-friendly at all. I find Seduction totally blah, like WTP but it's a bit silly for a single. Releasing You're Never Over could look like exploiting Proof's death. And I could imagine that he finds Going Through Changes too explicitly personal to turn into a single. Do not see Cinderella Man doing any better than No Love either.

agreed with you on few points, I think No Love should be released as well, but putting out the video in random time after the album hype has died down and has no promo at all *sign* only Em's team :coffee: Think about it, if he performed No Love at VMAs in September and then put out the video the day after that, now that'd be perfect :flutter:

Perhaps he doesn't want to do too much promotion? He seems happy with the way things are. If he wanted the song to have a bigger impact he would be out and about performing it everywhere and doing interviews, right? Every show would be glad to have him. Don't think this is all on the "team". And the song's five minutes long and has pretty explicit language, not sure how much that would have helped with radio airplay anyway, to be honest.

People. The song doesnt even go for adds till October 5th.

I don't think this will be #1. But I do think it will get to Top 10. Talkin 2' Myself would have been a #1 hit. Top 10 isnt anything to sneeze at. I think "No Love" should have been the 4th single. But it is probably going to be Top 10.

honestly, I doubt he even knows much about how things going outside his house, all the feedback he received I believe same from manager, friends, ppl he works with.. the problem is he's very insecure with his music now that I think he's afraid of performing a song that ppl not familiar with, that's why he always go the safe way with performances nowadays, he kinda needs a push, I'm sure if Paul told him to perform No Love at VMA, he'd do it.

we'll see, I don't like the chances, or I guess find it harder to believe it'll achieve real success since everyones heard it, the albums been out almost 14 weeks now. It debuted at #23 on the hot 100 and then dropped to 90-somethin, then fell off.

I disagree. If Eminem had performed No Love at VMAs he would have killed the hype of LTWYL earlier which would shorten the longevity of the CD at the end. If a single is successful use its full potential. Don't try to replace it too soon because once you use all of your cards the game is over. Lots of artists do it because they don't have any option but NA and LTWYL were both strong singles. There's no point to push the thirds single if the previous ones are still in high demand. Not only it overexposes the artist, at least one of those singles gets overshadowed. People wanted to see Eminem with Rihanna. Lil Wayne is in jail so it would have looked stupid without him anyway.

I know people criticize Eminem's team a lot (they aren't perfect and the amount of promo is not enough for the fans) but Eminem does better right now than everyone in the music business. He's the best selling artist of the decade who entered a new decade with the full force, which proves his team has to do something right.

I have no idea what this means. We don't do this radio spins bullshit in England

Guess you never followed the Not Afraid & LTWYL threads. An estimate of 4.565 million people heard it on the radio and the number has increased by 0.105 million listeners since last update. #1 usually go up to 130 :o

Same... I saw people use that with NA and LTWYL but never knew wtf it meant :sweating:

Have you seen No Love on the music channels yet btw? I haven't. On any of them. Not even urban ones like Flava, AKA etc
I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

if it's getting spins it already got "added"
in this digital age, "official" is just a formality
