Inb4 this is the next Relapse where people bash it and freak out at first and then when they settle down they realize it's a great album.

No, in before the cycle continues and people start praising Recovery and trashing MMLP2.

Fun is a pop band, on a MMLP2 album? When did we see a pop band in MMLP? Nick is a pop singer and collaborating with the likes of Pink just it all. I was expecting him to be going back to MMLP roots seeing as the album will be called MMLP2 doesn't make sense. I can picture Headlights being like Bruno Mars and Lighters.

I love how you base your opinion of Fun on the fact that its a pop band rather than actual musical talent.

Which most likely will turn out to be the same with Nick Ruess also. It might be good it might not, it never worked with Bruno so why would it work with Nick? Both pop singers?

If the rest of the album sounds anything like the two singles it will be Recovery 2 and it will be bad. It will have its fans but that will not last, these 'made for radio' generic uninspired BS albums that only feed off of current trends age horribly. Cant judge until I hear the actual album but the features and track titles seem to point to the album being like what I just described instead of an actual Eminem album. If he did an 80s throwback album, that could be cool, but Survival throws that option out the window and calling the album MMLP2 makes anything that ISNT a complete return to original form a horrible disappointment.

Im fine with Em branching out, Survival however is the musical equivalent of a "hang in there" poster and is in no way branching out. Also again, if you call the album MMLP2 you might actually want to have some inspired material.

The dude from Fun. is raw ppl are crazy. I have no recollection, nor pay any attention to what puts the pop in popular or care about an artists fanbase. Their one single talking about war is great, and his song with Pink is great. And his singing abilities are amazing.. a singer on the hook is a fuckin singer on the hook...whats the difference if its some no name bitch from around his neighbor or w.e named dina rae, or people who nominated for grammy's. It's a singer on the hook, a good one at that.....1000 levels above dina rae and many others
