Yeah, he took a bit of a break when he had problems, but his publicity people are always playing up the drama around him. The articles/interviews that say he was away for 5 years are just off press releases and what Em's people have said so they can make his "comeback" seem even more exciting.

I thought about the book in 2008, too. There was obviously some major ghostwriting going on there for it to come out when it did--right around the time of his mom's book (it had to be in production when he was still getting clean). Besides the need for publicity, he obvs has a strong staff who keeps generating stuff or spacing his work out even when he's not in public.

I wish Eminem would have died from that drug overdose so I wouldn't have to listen to the garbage he's putting out now.

Eminem doesn't force you to listen to his music.

You have to make a conscious decision to listen to it, unless you inadvertently hear it on the radio or something, and you don't strike me as a "listens to radio" type guy.

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

When it gets played all over the radio and I don't have the option to change it yes, I do have to listen to it.

So you've been hearing Love The Way You Lie, and Not Afraid a lot then I take it?

Because 90% of Eminem music from 2008-present doesn't get played on the radio. Unless......you made that conscious decision to listen to some Eminem? :o

No...I hear Not Afraid, We Made You or Love The Way You Lie at least once a day.

I changed my mind. I wish Eminem would have died right off 8 Mile so we wouldn't have to see the bitch he's become.

what about the bitch you've become, do you ever stop bitching about his new music?
And this thread is about whether eminem actually had a 'hiatus', not about Recovery incase you missed that.

Sounds like you have some sort of problem with Eminem there mate?

So since 8 Mile (2002) you're not a fan. When did you register on this forum again?

I aint really an intelligent guy, but maybe, just maybe.... logging in and posting on his fan forum isn't the greatest of ideas, if that is the case?

Just a thought. You can have that one for free :flower:
