Also, his phrasing (which is what you're getting at I think @ explain thoughts and opinions) on this is badass, has that smart-ass jagged flair, shit on Recovery sounded more like normal sentences but these lines have class phrasing to them "I'm still working the kinks out!".

This would be the pre-album freestyle, alright...this time it just happened to end up on a mixtape.
It's an indication of where his mind may be at for the album. His production is sounding interesting, his delivery has a decent amount of variation, and his "choppiness" is done in a more natural way. All of that from a freestyle, by the way. That doesn't mean that if you don't like the freestyle, you won't like the album. It just means that we've gotten the first look into some of the things that might influence the sound of the album; the first solo Eminem song in 3 years.
Obviously it's not going to be something mind-blowing, as it's not a drastic departure from his previous work. It is, however, an evolution of that. All of the experimentation--some of which went well, some of which didn't--has started to create what may be a more polished release. If he is indeed handling the majority of the production in-house, and has been working with his delivery, then we may be looking at an album that will satisfy most of the complaints with Recovery without being a complete teardown and rebuild of his entire style.
We'll see.

I agree... just that he could have placed himself in that zone only 'cuz of the beat or the kinda album that track supposed to be when he was recording it. I mean we could still get another freestyle that suppose to be the pointer for his own album later on & both these freebies could be either similar or totally different in directions.

This is what I've noticed, he's just phrasing shit different. I think he heard the "in other words..." cries and decided to attempt to go back to his old wit. He shows a lot of it on this track.

That's one of those rhymes where you hear it and it's almost like... how did I not notice that phrase would rhyme perfectly with Beethoven... sounds convenient... definitely getting better at natural rhyming again, things just fall in to place and sound conversational... but with artful phrasing.
