Em reaches out to her and puts her on his record that will sell millions of copies, and she repays him by calling him a homophobe on Twitter. That's a dick move.
For the record, Squiggles, I wasn't offended that Shade50 or whoever that nitwit is mocked Asperger's Syndrome. I was offended as someone who enjoys comedy and hates hacky, cliched jokes. "Ass burgers" is as stupid and lacking in creativity as "I just flew in from Maui and boy, are my arms tired!"
And Mack had a point, Recovery is a great frisbee. A great album, not so much. Macklemore is known to be a fan of classic Em.
I wouldn't say that she did call him a homophobe, she actually said that working with him she could definitely say he isn't. She was put in a tricky situation there, I think she probably does respect Em and didn't mean to come across that way. Also I think she did a great job on that song.
I get your point about tired/cliche jokes but my point is that you wouldn't have at all cared about THAT bad joke if it wasn't for your personal experience, the same way that I shake my head when someone says a tired epilepsy joke about a strobe light or something stupid.
Yeah I think pretty much every rapper is a fan of early Em. It's quite possible he will do a collab in the future....depends I guess.
