Oh silly NME. Not only did you give Eminem what he wanted by calling out lines of his and giving him publicity, you opened the whole article up by praising him.

I don't understand why people think if you listen to him automatically you turn into some drug addict, violent, unsensitive person and blah blah. And the fact that people see him only as an angry person is stupid. People can't understand that these are only songs and anyway who says LISTEN TO EMINEM, IT'S A MUST ??!! It didn't have any bad influence on me, only if you're fucked up mentally you're going to listen to the 3 a.m song, get up and kill people. Lol, that was exaggerated, but you understand. He might not be a role model, but I don't remember when he said he wanted to be one. :facepalm
They should listen to the "stimulate" song, but they probably never heard of it

If anyone catches you, say you were inspired by One Direction or something. Completely flip the script. :coffee:

P.S. This just shows you how many people actually "listened" to Relapse.

Yup.

Also all about delivery though...

Because I heard almost no praise for the amazing lyrical elements of Relapse and yet have heard a ton for MMLP2 when it's actually not THAT amazing for Eminem; it's very decent lyrically though.

But it's just because he's rapping in his normal voice again as apposed to the weird Relapse style or a totally one-toned shout over loud mess (Recovery).

This sounds like Eminem as a person rapping his thoughts again, that's the only reason it hits home with them. People are retards. They need it spelled out.

The Beethoven of rap. Praised by Mozarts and Haydns. Called rubbish by the critics. Have a large number of people emotionally invested in his music. Still misunderstood by the critics.

So, we'll have to wait a few more decades before people acknowledge his brilliance. I'm not talking about MMLP2. Looks like people still don't know MMLP.

A lot of the links/pics I've posted in the last year or so, if they're dead, there is a probability that I have archived it on Archive.today.

If you need to reach me for any reason, message me on Hip Hop Shelter.

So, I guess the next time a movie comes out where a man hits his wife, or is hateful or mean towards women, or about a gay person doing stereotypical things, the ACTOR should just be slammed by the media and every gay person out there should take shots calling the ACTOR insensitive towards gays and women right? RIGHT? No! So why the fuck is it done with music? At least with music it's just sound. In movies, you can actually SEE THESE THINGS BEING DEPICTED ON SCREEN. People need to get a fucking life already.

Music receives so much more scrutiny than any other form of entertainment and I don't understand this at all. I think it's because the average person wants music only as background noise and is terrified at the idea of actually having to think about and process lyrics. People want something nice and safe and bland.

This is exactly why most of society are sheep, robots...etc lol. Never think for themselves but instead just follow what the masses say and do and always have to be PC about everything. Fuck that. We have freedom of speech for a reason. Someone doesn't like that form of entertainment, move on. Thats another great freedom we have. The ability to decide what we watch and listen to, and if people don't like something...(and heres the best part they don't seem to get) THEN DON'T FUCKING WATCH IT OR LISTEN TO IT! Simple as that lol. Rant over.

The world is full of crybabies. Nothing new to see here. An "offensive" piece of entertainment comes out, melodramatic, sensitive crybabies blame it for all the worlds problems, things die down, then it happens again

And the cyle continues. Rinse, Spin, Repeat

Blah Blah Blah

If people like this had any power movies like "Django Unchained" wouldnt be winning oscars and Em wouldnt be where he is. Freedom of Speech is an inarguable right, the same right that gives you the right to cry about a piece of art gives it the right to exist. Dont be mad because millions of other people are as sensitive and fragile as you are when its succesful
