@kkaniff
they way I hear people discuss Eminem's skillz, to me, seems as if they are implying that Eminem is the indisputable greatest, most technical, spiritual lyrical miracle spitting don of hip hop when he just isn't. He is not on some pedestal that no rapper can or has ever touched before. Eminem is impressive in the technical department, but so is Big Pun, Tech N9ne, Busta, Twista, etc. etc. There are many others. In terms of punchlines, Big L's material seems to always shit on Eminem's. In terms of wordplay, symbolism, metaphors, etc., Nas shits on Eminem. And the second paragraph of my initial response was directed towards the OP. To me, Eminem shines because of his diversity of flows and styles - his versatility. Also, especially post 2009, the way his cadence seems to bounce of the snare perfectly is pretty outstanding.
In terms of Rap God, its not that fast and other rappers have spit just as complicated bars with just as much content in double in triple time flows as well.
