go on youtube and type rihanna live.
she's the most horrible 'singer' i ever heard.
She cant hold a note, she struggles and her tone is annoying.
I want to kill her when I hear her. She's ever more horrible than akon :facepalm

worse than*
but i still am asking whom you think is better than her and would work with em to do a chorus?

I think that eminem feats are fail. he's too good for anyone.
Look at collab with pink, she's an amazing singer and she sounds like
total disaster on the track with him.

'Shake that' was the ballance out single to 'When I'm gone' too. Never saw those like sell outs. 'Touchdown' was one 1 of 3 EM collabos T.I. picked for his album and I don't see it as sell out either even though people here say it's really really bad record in general.

Right.

But what I'm saying is this: what do these songs offer? Personal thoughts? No. Lyrical dexterity? No. Uniqueness in any significant way? No, not in my opinion.

They seemed to exist solely for the beats that were backing the vocals.

That's just me, though.

Well I think "Smack That" would indicate selling out if we didn't know the reason he did that song. He knows Akon personally and said Akon left a 16 spot for him and asked him to lay something. So he's friends with him, as if he's going to go "SORRY PAL DON'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A SELL OUT".

Also, with "Shake That"... Reason I wouldn't say it's sell-out is because he's still him on it. Who's to say he doesn't like a good catchy song for the sake of it now and then too.

But that's still very much Eminem on that track you know. Unless an artist clearly compromises their view or style I don't think you can say they've sold out. And not once have I heard Eminem compromise his honesty or real artistic values.

So just because Eminems not doing songs with Obie, Dre, 50 or Royce and making songs with Pink, Rihanna and Lil Wayne, which might I add are all lyrical fire (DTW, WBD, Forever) AND making some of the best songs in his career (Forever, Drop The World, Despicable, Airplanes, Not Afraid), he's selling? get the fuck outta here. 1 average song and everyone cracks the shits, GROW UP.

"Selling out" is when instead of doing what you wanna do, you do something that'll make you the most money. If Em really digs his new music, he's not selling out. If you're just assuming that he's not "doing him" because he's not exactly the same as he was as a kid in his 20s, you're kind of a presumptuous cock. It's always funny to me when fans think they can peer into somebody's soul and know what's going on in their head.

LOL, he could have had some unknown chick sing that same exact chorus in the same exact way, and this talk about selling out wouldn't exist (at least not over this song). But because it's Pink it's blasphemy. Shit, I wish Christina Aguilera sang it just because I'd get off on the reactions here.

Man, I'd love to be in a position some day where people can say I'm a sell out. Would be awesome.

Caution to the wind, complete freedom. Look at these rappers, how I treat 'em, so why the fuck would I join 'em when I beat 'em?

Probably exaggerated, but it's far from his worst.

I think the lyrics of the pink collabo prove he didnt sell out, those lyrics are as hard as it gets, the words to that song are just as dirty as the "Despicable" freestyle

People CANNOT be happy :facepalm

If I was Eminem I would just quit and make a called "Fuck My Bitchy Fans" and release and album full of Facks.

OR he can just release Relapse 2 instead of Recovery.

Its a side effect of being the most succesful, the more fans you have the harder it is to please everybody, but I think he already knows that by this point, when he was on his break everyone said they wanted him to make another crazy record, then when he did Relapse alot of reviews negatively said he was just rehashing the same thing and not evolving........If this album comes out more serious, the new complaint will be that he forgot what made him who he was........Its called a catch 22, Damned if you do, Damned if you dont

Eminem should just quit because if I was him I would seriously release and make a song called "Fuck My Fans". Not Afraid sucked and now it's awesome. NOW, Won't Back Down sucks and a week later it's the best song of this universe. Jesus Christ, maybe I'm more pissed off than Eminem if he saw all this shit :facepalm

Em isn't selling out
ohimesama wrote:What can be the reason of having a track with rihana? Get real.
The only reason is fame and the money. You cant say that she's an artist
so eminem would enjoy making songs with her :facepalm

lol Yea, except Rihanna is the only artist out of today's pop stars that's recieveing real praise from critics. Go look at her reviews for Rated R ( http://www.rihannadaily.com/2010/04/28/ ... worldwide/), not a single pop/mainstream female album has touched that in years by ANYONE. Those are 4 and 5 star reviews from the every leading publiciation on an album that she co-wrote most of it.

Not Britney, Madonna, Mariah Christina, Lady Gaga, P!nk, Beyonce, AND AND certaintly not that has-been no talent Ciara you have going on there lmao.

Hell, the Jay-Z collabo she did last year won 2 grammy awards. Then from a commerical standpoint - she has more #1's than any other female artist since 2000 and she's only been around half that time lol.

The Rihanna and Em track is what I'm looking forward to the most from the collabos (I haven't listened to the leaks yet)

moose35 wrote:Just cause he isn't collaborating with who you'd like means he's a sellout? Come on man. Pink is a singer, doesn't make her a sellout. She's actually a "female Eminem", rebel kind of attitude, music saved her life and all that. He's trying different things, and imo it'll be dope. All these people getting pissed off or saying Em's lost it...because of him getting Rihanna on an album? And not having Royce or Dre? Sheesh. People who call him a sellout before even hearing the tracks lose all respect from me. You haven't even heard the fucking tracks yet man. Was Dido a sellout?

Couldn't agree more. Pink only had a few lines, still some people think he is selling out.

No.

He has always said whatever the fuck he wanted, put out any type/style of song he wanted, that to me is never selling out. He never did shit for the money or the fame, he never used his to take any advantage he wanted, or that's how I see it.

Selling out would be 50 Cent, who once his albums starting dropping in sales did everything else to make money. Was it smart, fuck yeah it was, but he came in it for the music and turned his back on it, that's a sell out in my book, not eminem.

I still don't understand how collabing with different people would be considered selling out anyway, it's not like he got on a song with wayne when he went nuts with songs and mixtapes in 06-08. Cause he has rhianna on a song that's selling out? Get the fuck outta here with this bullshit :shakehead:
