Slik and CrashBand are right, cutting both in half cuts the lead in half. 50 - 40 = 10, 25 - 20 = 5. Another example 30 - 20 = 10, 15 - 10 = 5. But it was clear MMLP is gonna win anyway so it's not a big deal.

I understand this but if you go by that BUT if they were larger numbers that would just mean that it would take double the time for example...

If three people reduce TES and two people reduce MMLP and the scores are at 6 - 8 it would make it 3 - 6 the first day then the next day it would get eliminated if we reduce it to 3 - 4 it would just take one day to do the same thing. People who vote the same thing over time will just bring an album up or down and that's all that matter, technically if they weren't doubled yes one would have more point but over time it wouldn't matter.
