Also in what context, do you mean it was the last album he had control over all of its content?

Majority control as in content, direction (theme).

@Soulcrete

I understand that this is an unpopular opinion thread, but what gives you that impression?

EDIT: Nvm I think I misunderstood you, from what Im gathering you just mean its all him, on Relapse it was just him and Dre creating the music. After that hes had many producers hands in his projects and what not?

At first I thought you meant Interscope had some sort of creative input or something.

And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

More-so the second part isn't, at least to me

Exactly, and that 'reaching out' is limiting himself from his full potential imo

and I do think they have a little bit of input, but it's not overwhelming.

I absolutely love Yellow Brick Road. Classic song for me. Top 25.

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

This. They're both good, but it depends on my mood.

The first verse could've been done much better, at least.

I actually like the last few bars of the first verse. I take issue with the whole song, but the 2nd and 3rd verses dont fare all that well either even though they adhere to the concept. When the voices combine at the end of the song i actually do think is kind of effective and creepy, but overall, just meh to me.
