Regardless, I didn't mean just the amount of weeks at #1 weren't close - I mean the impact isn't close. They're not comparable in legacy.
A song can be a gigantic #1 hit but not much remembered as an important song thereafter. LTWYL doesn't approach the quality of LY and it hasn't had the same impact or respect. it was / is a very big hit but it's not close to LY's impact and legacy at all.
