every song on the MMLP is better then TES. thats all i have to say.
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it
Spend a million a track and went over my budget
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore - I just murdered the alphabet

Except "Bitch Please II" and "Under The Influence" :D
(Not saying those are bad songs, but they're not better than, say, "Sing For The Moment" or "Cleanin' Out My Closet"
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

The Eminem Show, I could listen to every single track on there & not skip any.

Recovery, it's a good album but some of them like Won't Back Down, So Bad & You're Never Over chorus is just eh...I don't know how to put it in any other words but songs like 25 To Life, Going Through Changes those are the one's that make up for those terrible songs on the album but other then that I see where your going with this.

yes the eminem show is definitely his best album technically speaking (flow, production, content, etc) but for me personally recovery brought back that feeling I had when I first heard eminem for the first time in 2002 with the eminem show.

So yes as far as better albums go he will never top TES but personally recovery is either my second favorite or tied with TES

Now now, Let's not embarrass ourselves on the internanos.

I remember when TES was released, the Em fans didn't warm up to at first, called it too commercial, a big let down from the gritty brutal Marshall Mathers LP. Fast foward to current day, this generation of Em fans call it a classic, a personal favourite.

actually you both are right, i always forget that point, since he was gone for so long, and so many fans are in high school they dont realize what he once did and never can but living through the mmlp and tes does change shit :worship:

Allthough im gonna agree with TS, i will also say Recovery is fairly new and alot of songs on the Eminem Show have not aged too well. It sounds fairly dated, we will see how Recovery fairs in a few years :y:

Beat wise then you are probably right, since i liked a lot of the beats on Recovery. Though lyrically i was dissapointed about Recovery. And i would never rate it over the Eminem Show lyrically.
