Don't even get me started on how much better DEJA VU is.
The chorus to love the way you lie is great but Em's verses are average, and I've never liked Deja Vu so

I love B.o.B, that song and his album.
But Em has put out better than that. Then again, I mean if we're talking a full musical accomplishment then yes it is ahead of most of Em's recent stuff.
But... "Almost Famous" shits all over it for me. As does "Cinderella Man".
This is the thing though, many people are already comparing just lyricism when the OP clearly stated he's talking MUSIC, full musicality. Not just lyrics.

EminemBase wrote:^ Yeah I know you're not.
But scanning through the pages I see people who are refuting you are talking precisely lyricism and that only lmao. So just pointing out you don't mean that.

Recovery is real rap, Em's verses are some of the hardest shit he's dropped in his career, sound wise...whether that takes away from its "musical" value depends on who you ask and what kind of "music" they prefer
Thats almost like some people saying that rap is not music, its just noise pollution

If you're talking about pop music, BoB has Em beat by a wide margin...if you're talking about rap music, Em is miles ahead as BoB's album struggled to have even 2 verse songs of actual rapping
Thats almost like some people saying that rap is not music, its just noise pollution

Bet I was one of the worst songs on the album.

Indeed.![]()
Best songs are / were, "Don't Let Me Fall", "Ghost in the Machine", "The Kids" and "Letters from Vietnam". Although I think the final was a bonus.
So many good bonus tracks he should of included.

slimsoxshady wrote:if the OP made this topic saying "Bob makes better POP MUSIC than Eminem" I would have agreed 100%...but last time I checked, Eminem is a rapper and his album has more than just 1 rapped verse per song
