@Kiki, I don't like how is he dressed neither, but it seems we are the only ones. I used to love his Recovery clothes, Jeans, leather jacket...., that nobody else here seems to like so.....

Because of the tail of paps... he's never been from the rappers than scream out loud & pose wherever they go. He was always sneaky & was avoiding the paps from day one.

But nowadays it's like he's very shy and serious. Back then he seemed very outgoing. Almost like he loved all the attention

I agree he gets more & more secretive & less energetic but technically he only kind of looked for attention in between TSSLP & 2001. After that it was all about him hating the attention of fans & media & during the process of any album from then on, it was like all about myths & legends for fans & media. I do agree he was way more energetic & at least was doing the necessary things that an artist from his caliber should do before, but never really pushed to the limit, esp. with traveling/touring & embracing the media right when the albums were coming. Well his sales were more than too good so he probably felt he never needed that anyway. It's normal IMO 'cuz he learned all that from Dre, who gets like totally uncomfortable when media sniffs around him & whenever that happened during the process of any of all those albums they did, he was leaving LA, isolating himself ( & his crew) in Hawaii (most of the time) or other places occasionally.

They use the old strategies, that apart Eminem would not work/help to any other artist nowadays, as all of them must interact with their fans way more than what was back then considering all the new technologies & the way music is presented today. That's why us, Eminem fans are hungrier than ever nowadays... Esp. considering the rest of the artists/agents interact with fans hourly & let 'em know about anything necessary, unnecessary & even irrelevant.
