The point I was making is that there's more to rhymes than just rhyming words. Anyone can do that, a bunch of multies doesn't make rhyming more impressive in the eyes of an intelligent person than single syllable rhymes that mean something.

All the content in the world can't make up for lame, generic, monosyllabic rhymes. I could rhyme 'George Bush wastes the people's taxes when he goes to war/And the voters go to the booth and they're really sore/Because at their core, they're upset with his lack of smarts/That's why the American public decided they need a new start' and it would be whack as fuck. It would have a message, but it would be weak lyricism.

I disagree. "Yellow Brick Road" had it's moments, but it almost felt like an accident. "Crack a Bottle" isn't a serious track but it seemed more focused to me...His delivery might be playing into this for me, though.
