what the non-stans and casual fans are saying

he can sometimes divide me, as I like rap music, but have strong morals. However, there is no denying Stan, Without Me, Lose Yourself, Not Afraid and Love the Way you lie are timeless. Love the lyrics of without me, particularly the intro, interpolations, and realising how similar he really is to Elvis, whilst the 4 ballads tell it as it is, raw and powerful. I like the idea of the guy from Fun. featuring on one of his songs. That will intrigue me the most.

Nicky H
Thought I'd get the Marshall Mathers LP album before the follow up…WOW, the song Kim shocked the hell out of me. haha

kalifire_uk
No Royce? That's a shame. Hopefully they're saving their stuff for another Bad Meets Evil album.

James Kennedy
Here's to hoping! Lol.. I also hope that this album is better than 'Bezerk' but to be fair, his full albums are usually much better than his commercial singles that he releases from them.

David Petersen
So that was the #monster collab she was talking about. I had hoped she did it for Lady Gaga's album, but Eminem is awesome too!

Proof was his hype man before his death, now Porter is.

Tech is on Em's level. Hell Tech killed him in that one track.

50 is a failing artist? Ha! Still My Life wasn't good at all. That had Recovery Em all over it.

It doesn't mean he NEEDS ONE. He had one before and has one now, but he doesn't NEED A HYPE MAN.

You honestly think Tech killed Em on the Anthem? :facepalm

50 is a failing artist, if not already failed. Yeah, My Life was annoying, I'm with you on that.

And yet Em has him. If Porter was an act in the show, we would see him perform his own music but all he's there for is to back up Em.

And yea I think Em killed Tech on Anthem. Either way Em did not have the best verse on that track.

Just because he has him there doesn't mean he NEEDS him. Do you have any evidence of Em actually NEEDING A HYPE MAN still? Em doesn't have Porter perform his own music because it's Em's show.

Yep, Em killed Tech on The Anthem. Not sure about Em having the best verse though.

Em is shit scared of doing a track with Nas and it's the same with Tech N9ne. I agree that it's bad that 50 Cent and D12 have been completely ditched by Em, after all those years of peddling his Shady Family bullshit he's abondoned them in favour of Rihanna, Pink, Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars and that skinny jeans wearing faggot from Fun. Similar to how he ditched the Bass Brothers (who produced most of the first MMLP).

It wouldn't be so bad if the album wasn't called The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

The fact that you think that Tech could possibly outshine Em on a track with his forced rhyming unga bunga shit is already laughable. Em made a song with 50 last year and he still tours with Porter. Just because they don't release new music doesn't mean they've been abandoned. And yeah, Kendrick and Tyler are totally skinny jeans wearin faggots.

You fucking poverty youtube stans. Get the fuck off this forum, you retarded shitlords.

First off, I didn't say Tech would outshine Em. However, Em seems to have dodged him and Nas for a while now. The excuse for not doing the daughters song with Nas is pitiful.

Kendrick is a good collab so I dunno why you're trying to use that to justify working with a glorified boyband member, Rihanna (again) and Skyler Grey who wouldn't be so bad if every song was produced by Alex Da Kid. If you've brought up Tyler because Em toured with him then yes, I'm well aware of that. I was at the Glasgow concert six weeks ago Kendrick, Tyler and Yelawolf all opened for Em. Touring with Tyler has no relevance to this album.

As I've said, I'll buy this album purely out of loyalty to Em however the man seems well out of touch with what The Marshall Mathers LP name means to his core fans. The MMLP is anti-pop, anti-establishment and rebellious. Not something you'd associate with the COD franchise, the Fun singer and a skank who seems to think she's edgy because she posts pictures of joints on Instagram.

Em is more concerned with appeasing his growing pre-pubescent girl fanbase rather than the fans who stood by him and made him into the mega success he is now.

Your last line is just bizarre, and poorly worded. Telling people with a different opinion to fuck off the forum. Last time I checked that is what a forum is for.

For those of you idiots calling this Recovery 2. First off, as many have said, you havent even heard the album.

Second, based off of what we know, this at least to me looks to shit on Recovery.

First of all, Survival and Berzerk >> WBD and Not Afraid.

Looking at the tracklists side by side, MMLP2 sounds way darker/harder than Recovery.

The features also look better IMO.

Rihanna, Skylar, Nate & Kendrick > Rihanna, Kobe, Pink & Lil Wayne.

I get it, Em in the early 2000's would never work with some of these artists, but 3 of those are only hooks, and are probably darker or more serious tracks. I love the fact that there is only 1 rap feature as well.. I was hoping Survival somehow didnt make the final cut, but I don't hate the song at all. Also hoping for a deluxe edition or something with a few more tracks..

And another thing, I'm sure production will be better as well.

I love tech but I can't remember the last time he had the best verse on a collaborative track. People never talk about his verses because there's nothing to talk about, it's as simple as that.

flow and random words will never make a verse memorable.

Wait so you actually like the tracklist? Em totally contradicted himself when he decided to collab with Rihanna and Skyler, its hard not to judge when you have those two names in there.

I still can't believe people find this tracklist good, I mean he named it after a classic, people have high expectations, people are expecting a revisit to the first album, he even said it for godsake. I just really hope this album is at least good, or it will forever taint his legacy.

Nate is not better than Kobe. Fuck no man. Kobe is dope. Also Pink is way better than Skylar. Love Kendrick but the collabs on Recovery were better if you compare them.

I agree Berzerk > Not Afraid, but WBD is way better than Survival.

And that's the problem. You all will think it will be as good as his early stuff, and will be doomed sincce it would never reach your expectations. I never got into that mindstate even after i learned the album name. Nothing will ever match MMLP.

@LEVITIKUZ

I meant Rihanna, should've been more clear. I don't mind Skyler personally but the production is always shit as it's usually ADK.
