no, but it seems thats all we get with any song with slaughterhouse, is just random verses, usually no hook... can they not make a real song or what?

Slaughterhouse is straight up lyrical madness, if you want catchy hooks and shit they ain't for you

I just don't like their style. 4+ guys trying to see who can rap the faster while rapping about a very vague subject just doesnt appeal. Who cares if they are lyrical if you don't really get what the song is about.

I would probably like them if they stopped making songs that have no point other than to see who can out rap who.

After hearing this I really fear Slaughterhouse will be some kind of an improved version af D12. Just trying to sound hard, coming up with average punchlines and not having any real message. I know it is only one track but their album wasn't any good either.

I like them as solo artists but as a group they have yet to impress me. It is like they can't find themselves as a group artistically.

I gotta agree with this. Even though I like Slaughterhouse, that's what this track was really about. Who has the better verse. Maybe Em can keep them on a single subject during a couple of songs for their album. Em knows concepts fairly well, it's just Em's been a punchline rapper lately. I really think he just enjoys writing punchlines, that's the only reason I can think of as to why Em is doing it on this track too. But when the song has a point, a theme, Em is always spot on with his lyrics and delivery.

I know that Em wasn't mentioned, but I just wanted to mention that. It's something I've been beginning to notice.

Had no concepts, no real message and fuck all direction. Just a lot of rappers trying to come up with the hardest verse without having the track in mind.

Rain Drops, The One, Pray (It's A Shame), Microphone and Cut You Loose had some type of concepts.
