That means he really might be on Em's album, maybe not on a skit though. Maybe on a song, on a hook like Mike Epps.. I don't know.
It's def a sign Em was inspired by 'Dark Fantasy'... I was hoping he would be inspired by Kanye's scope after hearing that, and the fact we're so apparently close and yet haven't heard a peep from producers? It HAS to be mainly self-produced, there's no way they could keep every single produce involved THIS tight-lipped for so fucking long.
It's obviously why Em has been exec producing so much, he's been honing his skills behind the board again. Expect a mainly Em produced album; and, I reckon it'll be larger in scope and cinematic, I think deep down he's... well, I'm not saying this is definitely his last album, but I reckon he's trying to make it in such a way where he would be proud if it was...
And, Paul said he's been working on it 'for some time'... aka, a long time; and Em said only back in August 2012 that he hadn't fully went in yet?... I mean, from August to when Paul announced that, which was in Feb... that's 6 months. 6 months is not a time you say 'some time' about; 6 months is an expected / short amount of time, that's basically how long Recovery was...
So, as I said a long-time ago; I think Em started working on this album ages ago, perhaps early 2012 or even late 11; he honed his producer skills and learned from other producers with all the co-productions and exec producing Yela, SH and now Skylar, trying to broaden his scope and grow as a music maker... and he's been secretly stacking tracks and building... intentionally focusing all shine on his exec productions so nobody asks him about solo...
In reality he always wants the element of surprise to be as big as it can be, and I think this time he's gone all out - been a little sneaky with the truth in regards to how long and deep in to the process he was at different points. I hope to fuck what I think is true, because I want something truly thought about, mastered, crafted, layered... and I think that's what we'll get. Back in the day, he was always the one putting the most effort in by far, so he could feel secure in being not only the best, but the hardest working... but after Recovery... yeah he went all out with flows and lyrics, but he didn't construct the album and it was more a collection of songs; so I think he saw Kanye's effort with MBFTF and felt out-done and that he needed to take it to a next level...
