In my opinion you guys are just waiting for tracks like The way I am and Lose yourself and will call almost everything new coming out bad. Well, those tracks are done and if you want those tracks just go listen Eminem's old albums. Just try to listen to the track for what it is and forget about everything else for a minute.

it SUCKS. high 5 to my man Kez :smoking:

I agree about those first and third verses being Dre's (maybe the third one for 50), probably ghostwritten by Em and they''re not too bad. If Dre and Fif had rapped those verse i dont think there'd be half as much complaining about it.

rofl how do you know that? if 50 rapped those verse, he'd get buried alive by members here, like he does for 90% of the time [except for his dickriders]. 'not too bad'? they suck, i see no sense in 'em. chorus? annoying. flow? nowhere near his previous. beat? shit.

none of us have an explanation for this shit and all this supposing that MAYBE it was ghostwritten for Dre or MAYBE ghostwritten by Dre or MAYBE he was showing Dre how to flow them.. it is just trying to find something positive to hold on to. Em did ghostwrite for Dre before and none of the songs was shit.

@ Jens14: yeah, i am waiting for tracks like Lose Yourself, because for the past years Eminem proved to me that he is capable to make songs that give me chills whenever i listen to them, songs that everyone knows - even people who don't listen to rap. he proved that he can write insane lyrics, clever and funny and songs like this one.. well.. they just suck.

i don't want 'Relapse' to sound like that. :(

Don't know if it's just a rumor or not, but some people say they heard Dre called a radio station after they played the rough Number 1 track, and he said it was a possible track for Detox, and Eminem recorded the verses to show Dre how they should sound like, as most people thought... so that's why it's not mixed well... apparently Eminem sent it to Dre through email (lol) and someone got a hold of it and released it... and now that people heard the rough version, Dre said it's not gonna be used anymore...

not sure if it's 100% true, but apparently many people heard it

it's too bad I would have liked to hear a well-mixed,finished version, with Dre in there... I liked the beat, and it would have been a pretty cool song

but on the other hand, I know they can make better tracks, and we'll probably get to hear another Em and Dre collab and hopefully it's going to be better so that's good news

In actuality, it's not that bad. The flow sounds pretty good, his delivery is nice and varied; we just need the lyricism. If Relapse sounded like this, but with the lyrics we listen to his music for, i have hope now. I'm judging only his verse, not the ones he's done for Dre (listening back the given explanation makes sense). The hook and general theme reminds me of stuff like 6 In The Morning. But i'm sick of incomplete or otherwise "half" tracks; i'm not judging him until i get a full single released BY him FOR Relapse. What i'm annoyed at is that, judging from this, you Stans would never admit he could make a bad track. You pull excuses out your arses like "oh it's not a full track so it doesnt count, he only made it for promotion/practice" etc etc, honestly...

tl;dr: stop trying to pre-judge Relapse by incomplete or otherwise "half" tracks, and get off Eminem's cock!

oh and also, @ "hell naw you can't get the beat, fuck you" i fucking lol'd

^^ yeah I lol'd at that too haha... and at around 1:53, just before that, I was thinking about a few things, like "is that a Detox reject, a Relapse reject?" etc.... and then the dj said: "don't ask no questions motherfucker" :'( lmao

I agree with you, but in this particular case, it seems like the track leaked at a pretty early stage... who knows, maybe he would have kept the verse like that, but judging a rough draft isn't really fair... I mean, if people were to judge my rough beats, I'd be ashamed lol

Yeah, I hear ya', I wouldn't want someone judging all my rough tracks either, 'cause any artist knows anything in a song can be changed at any time, lol.

Thanks man. :y:

Just heard the track and what the fuck is up with the intro, was that Cocoa?

Anyway verse 2 is lyrically ill as fuck, LOL at the fat joe line. But seriously those lyrics are the exact lyrics Eminem would of written a couple years back. Beat sucked balls, only thing got my interest is that second verse.

Every verse, every line, as simple as nursery rhymes
it's elementary the "Elephants have entered the room"

Fat Joe's latest album is called "The Elephant In The Room"/ Plus the DJ even says that's a shot at Fat Joe.

meh, the rest of the song was 2 horrible for me to download again.

I personally thought the 2nd verse was the weakest.

It's lyrically superior to Encore is terms of rhyming complexity...so there's that. Content is AWFUL though...but, I suppose if this stuff is contained to a pop song or two it's all right.

We'll see what comes out when Eminem is trying to be serious--I'll say he sounds a lot closer to "Encore" Eminem than the Em of his first four albums, though, stylisitcally.
