shadyisland wrote:The idea that he needs to take more time on it to make it better is, to me, a misconception. If he truly has been in a lyrical zone, as everyone seems to say that hes been, why does spending more time on it necessarily mean that it will be better? He could end up scrapping alot of dope songs that hes recorded already, just because he continues to work on it. Working on it more doesn't mean that we will definitely be getting better material.

Better.

Better in whose eyes? Em's eyes? The fans eyes? Just Blazes eyes?

So even if we hear the stuff he did last month, then teh stuff he changed to for the final tracklist whose to say the first stuff was better, or the final stuff was better.

Em will choose his songs for a reason.

its understandable though, when one week its "a pinch of salt away from completion" and then the next theres "a lot of work to do".

The article that quoted Just Blaze saying "a pinch of salt away from completion" was FAKE. It was from a bullshit website. There a LOT of those in rap...more bullshit websites than legitimate ones. If you've been following rap news on the internet for any length of time you would know that.

This album was never going to come out as soon as people here were expecting...people are just delusional. He didn't put out Refill just for the hell of it; it was his way of saying, "it's gonna be a while people, so here's some shit to tide you over."

I'm projecting 4th quarter, 2011. Eminem's albums have tended to follow the pattern of being about 2 years apart.

If it's on the Aftermath site (which it is) then I will take it as legit.

This place generates more Eminem information than his own official website, which is kind of sad.

LOL at people saying "Em in a zone right know, he can take all the time he wants" Like have you heard the record already or what? Em hasn't made a great song in too many years, only if you consider the Collabs he did with Lil Wayne great. I think everyone should wait and hear the record so then you the fans can decide if his on a "zone" right know, just because every person his working with is saying that it doesn't have to be true.

I'm basing it on the Westwood freestyles, The Warning, the BET Cypher, verses on DTW & Forever (despite being overrated were still agressive verse delivered well). Everything since Relapse has been on point.
