I can't believe Xzibit didn't meet Em personally, he was at the both concerts like a fan:

It's pretty weird.

I went yesterday. The view from my stand was decent and it was great to get a whole view of the standing crowd and set. I didn't know about Asap Rocky or any of the other supporting acts so I can't comment about them.

All I can say is, the show was dope from start to finish. Forever, Bad Guy, Not Afraid, Won't Back Down, Berzerk and Rap God were highlights of the show. Sound could have been better. I thought sometimes the sound sounded awry and Em's mic got drowned out by the backing tracks. The crowd was good. Got a decent amount of pops when songs finished or he came back out.

All in all, I'll never forget last night. Only because it was my first time seeing him live.

He was NOT there like a fan, unless you think your average fan wanders the stadium well before the gates open, wears an all-access back stage pass, and watches the show from atop the sound board (usually the single best place to actually see and hear a large stadium show).

You've mentioned this a couple of times now - what makes you think they didn't meet up? Em is weird about people posting personal pics, perhaps Xzibit's just respecting his privacy. As friends do.

Hi Guys, first post but I have to give my honest review.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEb3YgqmBxQ

Let’s get one thing cleared up first, I’m not an Eminem hater or after a refund. I just wanted to hear my idol.

This is for all the Eminem Stans on Twitter (yes, I called you a Stan) piping up to his defence (when I am not targeting him) telling people to stop complaining about the sound quality, when I was listening to him when you were in nappies. Mmm. kay.

I’ve been a fan of Eminem for 15 years. I’ve refused to see him at any festivals and promised myself to see him when he got his own UK gig, only to be left upset and hugely frustrated.

This is from Block 226, Row 6.

This video shows the sounds quality for the entire time. It's not the phone that makes this audio sound bad, apart from losing some bass, this is exactly what it sounded like (actually sounds better on the phone). Playing "let's try and rap along to a song by piecing together what fractions of lines you can here and an approximate guess at the verse he must be on" was a tiny bit of fun, but mainly just made me mad. People kidding themselves that they were having a good time was just embarrassing when they had to stop mid dance to say "what song is this?" Because they actually couldn't hear it! Damn you Wembley.

What’s a girl to do?
Try and hear her idol!

So I gave it over an hour before I thought, I can’t do this anymore; I just want to hear him.
The crowd was amazing, the atmosphere couldn’t be faulted and you could tell by watching Eminem, he was doing an amazing job.

The ticket says complaints about audio have to be done during the event and not after. Complaints after are not valid. A get out clause basically. So I did it at the event to the 212 Club Wembley customer services, just asking for us to simply go and find some un used seats somewhere (as there were plenty scattered about) the answer was no.
I wasn’t after an upgrade, I was after a downgrade and all I wanted to do was HEAR my idol. She told me they hired the venue and it was their sound, though I've read the other way round. I was told I need to contact my ticket provider to make a complaint, who let’s face it aren't going to do anything. Who actually can’t do anything for me after - I couldn’t have made it more clear to her, I didn't want a refund, I just wanted to move to where I could hear it. It was admitted to me by her, all staff and stewards I spoke to that the sound quality was an issue, but they were unable to let us anywhere else apart from where our tickets were.
Why though?
If you’re admitting to the fault and you have spare seats or space in standing, why not just let us move?

I tried myself by going into a couple of boxes, explained the situation and was told they couldn’t do anything. We tried one more time when we were leaving and no luck. You can't get into standing or lower stands with our tickets either.

We left ¾ of the way though because we couldn't hear one thing being said or performed, I actually shed a tear in frustration over this. Even when not performing and when Eminem was talking into the crowd, you couldn't hear what he said. This is no exaggeration. I didn’t even catch one word from his intro trailer either.

I'll get over, it but I feel cheated, massively frustrated and he literally is my idol, so it was a tease - so I'd rather have not gone and not had to feel this disappointment. Am I ever going to see him again? Not in my lifetime, I can’t afford flights to America to go and see him.
So I'm bummed out.

If you imagine your idol and someone said hey, give me £230 and you can see them perform and then they go hahaha jokes, you can just look at him for the set.
This is my pain!
Feel my pain!
He's a rap god, as much as it was awesome to look at him, I need to hear him. He's my idol because of his words. He's a lyrical genius.

Good things that came from it?
This is me trying to put a positive spin on a bad feeling
- I saw him
- I saw Dre
- I rapped at him even though I couldn't hear him
- Dead wrong and Forgot about Dre was amazing
- He literally is one of the best rappers of all time and the part of rap god I caught proved that
- He's hot‪ #dilf
- I went to wembley and experienced the atmosphere on that scale
- I'll pay to meet him and backstage it when I win the lottery (pahaha we can all dream)
- Kuniva from D12 tweeted me this weekend

Bad luck of the draw and a lesson learned about Wembley for me. It is what it is, nothing I can do about it now. We tried. It just sucks!

The end.

He doesn't need to take a picture every time they get together, you're the one being weird.

Yeah, you're right guys.

Although I just wanted to see a picture when we didn't get a performance from them.

I've just got home from leaving my house at 6AM yesterday :')

The show was outstanding. I had to leave before he came out and did Lose Yourself, I was simply too dehydrated. I had nothing to drink for 5/6 hours while in the stadium waiting since the shitty stewards took my drinks away. It was a good 20+*c in there since I was in the pit.

Other than the dehydration the show was simply incredible, I seen him last year at Leeds Festival and it was outstanding then, I would go as far as saying Wembley, he was 10x better. Not to mention motherfuckin' Dre was in the building.

When he opened with Bad Guy I flipped my shit, last year it was Survival, this year Bad Guy..

I get to see him next month in the 17th show of NYC and I am so excited, I'll be sure to stock up on water inside haha :')
Eminem - Leeds Festival 2013 - Attended.
Eminem - Wembley Stadium 2014 - Attended.
Eminem - New York City 2014 (2nd date) - Booked.

There they go, packing stadiums as Shady spits his flow

Yeah I've read reviews and such. I don't know if it's Eminem's fault, or his band's fault but they should definitely do something about it because it's not the first time there are sound problems during one of their shows.

I'm sorry your dream was ruined but it's cool that you're trying to be positive about it instead of bitching endlessly like most would. Hopefully you'll have the chance to see him some other time, and it'll be better. I'm hoping I can see him again in a gig and not at a festival, even though it was pretty good.
