Once my brother lived his teenage years the golden prime age on Anti Pop Eminem.
Then He grew up and gave up on Slim Shady, but I was convincing him that the Sequel will be good.
He put up with Survival, because he is smart, and knows that was a forced anthem for a game.
He liked Berzerk a lot actually, and Rap God got him fucking hyped. A full grown hip hop head bumping a 6 minute long epic Em song.

Now I have to explain this shit to him.
Fuck Pop singers on hooks.
Em if you want to evolve as an artist, don't do it on a Master Piece original sequel.

Well I mean, if he understood Survival being a forced anthem for a game, clearly he could understand this song being a forced single meant to hit the top of the charts.

I just read the lyrics and I actually like them, but with that pop-ish sound the lyrics sounds meh. Those lyrics could've fit so well in a dark, regular song, but I guess this is how Eminem is now...

I like the lyrics, I like Em's voice and Rihanna's singning. I dislike the pop beat and how they made us believe this was a dark song. Its an ok song and I think I like it better than LTWYL. Will do great in charts :y:

Bad Guy, Evil Twin, Legacy, Brainless, Love Game, Rhyme Or Reason -- pretty sure none of those will be pop sounding. Not to mention Rap God which we already know is far from pop.

Koolo probably called it 10/10 for the lyrics. Because the lyrics are actually quite nice. Beat is very poppy and so is the hook...so what?

I'm gonna pull the "if this was another artist..." card because it's true...if this was another rapper there wouldn't be a problem. If Yelawolf did this shit you would all love it.
