Some people are very entertaining... though somewhat irritating. It doesn't have to obey your understanding of convention or fall in line with your own expectations.

SMH

Get over yourself. That's not what this is. Eminem isn't making music specifically for you.

Yes and remember Em usually puts out the worst songs of the albums as singles or the most radio friendly

It's a great song. Eminem already offered you "Rap God" and he said he can't make songs like "Lose yourself"

Eminem is known to be honest and he is just reflecting on himself. It's more of a motivational song.

Just think about it; Eminem has already released four songs and all of the songs are completely different.

He just can't make another song like "Not Afraid" because he is at a different point of his life. He has nothing else to prove. He is the best artist of this generation and he is portraying his fame beautifully on this song.

After listening to "Monster" I started to get a clear idea about this album more and more.

In Berzerk, he says "Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch"

and then he made everyone talk about his rap abilities in "Rap God"

Rhianna is currently the most successful female artist when it comes to Billboard Charts. She has 12 number one songs on Billboard; and that's more than Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift combined.

Rhianna is even hotter than Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift combined lol. So, this song is a hit.

It' just got to the point where Eminem has nothing to prove. He will continue selling million of albums. He has won everything but again he says in "Rap God"

But look at the accolades the skills brung me
Full of myself, but still hungry
I bully myself cause I make me do what I put my mind to
And I'm a million leagues above you, ill when I speak in tongues

Just relax and enjoy the music. It's still better than a lot of pop songs this year.

I thought his flow is perfect for this kind of song.

Kill You wrote:Koolo probably called it 10/10 for the lyrics. Because the lyrics are actually quite nice. Beat is very poppy and so is the hook...so what?

I'm gonna pull the "if this was another artist..." card because it's true...if this was another rapper there wouldn't be a problem. If Yelawolf did this shit you would all love it.

Exactly it's just we have such high standards for Em. The only thing I don't like is the super poppy beat. But the lyrics are great and I like this hook a lot more than LTWYL.

This is true. If it was a Yelawolf song everyone on TRshady would whip their dicks out and ram it through their eye sockets.

If this is a revisitation of any kind than spank my ass and call me Judith.

Now I know that the best case scenario of MMLP2 is like 6 or 7 Rap God types of songs ( Which is Awesome ), and the rest just mixed bullshit thrown on an album. Wannabe Anthems and Pop singles.
I mean I was doubting a classic but goddamn Em, respect your fans authorithaa.
It was us who bought 1.76 mil of it the first week.

The thought of watching this on the EMA's, YT awards makes me unhappy.
RESPECT MY AUTHORITAAH

Probably because it's breaking the very barriers that make life understandable. If a song can get to 10 on a scale of 4, what does that even mean for us as a race? What will we do? It's like... if God made a song.. it would be like... 10/4.

Song is 7/10.

Instrumental is not good and the hook has its annoying parts, but I love the lyrics and Em's flow is good.

Anyone notice on the 3rd verse his last few words lead into the chorus like on LTWYL?
