-His cultural references are incredibly dated, it's weird. Mary Kay Laterno was a teacher who slept with a 13 yo student in 1996. Baby Jessica was a baby who fell down a well in 1987. Why did he include these people in the song? I'd heard of both, but I had to google the dates. If he had brought them up on SSLP it would still have been dated.
-"Where should I put the pink sissy with the fluffy hair?" is one of my favorite Em insults, it's just hilarious how he says it. Perez Hilton is one of my most disliked people alive, I loved how Em ripped him apart.
-Em makes a reference to the underground rap group People Under The Stairs. "Put him under the stairs? People are already under there." I'm not a PUTS fan at all, I can't name a single song of theirs, so I'm not trying to read into this. The second I heard that line I thought of them, I'm pretty sure it was deliberate.
-Relapse 2 was possibly gonna be called Rehab. "First I Re-up, then I Relapse, go to Rehab then I Detox." Notice how he puts his latest albums (and his mentor Dre's upcoming album) in chronological order. "Rehab" fits in perfectly, chronologically.
-"I relapse twice after I come out of Brighton" This line might indicate this song was for Relapse 2 and not Relapse.
-"Cuz I react like the She-Hulk when I see Nyquil." IDK much about the She-Hulk, but this line seems retarded. I thought he said seagull at first, and I thought it was hilarious because I pictured Em acting like the seagulls from Finding Nemo and going "mine! mine!" over some Nyquil.
-"...and some Van De Kamp's" WTF is he talking about? Apparently that's a seafood brand. Why mention that???
Just some thoughts, what do ya'll think?
