Relapse vs Leaked Songs

If you could swap songs from Relapse with Leaked songs, would you? Or Relapse has a class of its own?

the only song that really could fit is Oh No, i think it's more like Relapse 2 though

if you take all the leaked songs and Refill, and whatever else Koolo has , it looks like R2 was gonna be good

Well only song leaked from the 'Relapse sessions' is "Oh No" so that's the only one I'd consider swapping. And I'd obviously swap it for "Beautiful".

Apart from that, they're all from different time periods. Point of an album is all the tracks are a single presentation, it's supposed to be coherent.

Because it doesn't fit on the album at all. Was made for a different album, like "Crack a Bottle". Sounds totally out of place.

Doesn't matter how good the actual song is, if the style and production are so different that it's a different album, it shouldn't be there. I'd be just as annoyed if... "Till I Collapse" was on there. Because it would be so out of place with everything else.

i think some songs off refill should of been on relapse. I would put songs like buffalo bill and music box in for crack a bottle and etc. Relapse would be better than it already is.

I see what you are saying, but I think Beautiful does make sense on Relapse. I think even Em mentioned that that song was on the album to show that he's still a human, and not a blood-thirsty psycho as that album made him look like. Makes sense when you think about it.

^ Well I've been round in circles with this with people tons of times, I'm sure you too. So no need to go back into it. You think it fits, I don't.

But just to clarify again, as every single time people try to mention themes or quality of the song - I'm talking about the SOUND. The production and the style. It sounds ridiculous because it sounds nothing like the other tracks.

If I was talking about themes don't you think I would be annoyed about "Deja Vu" also? Themes don't matter. Style and sound is what makes tracks mesh. "Deja Vu" is an introspective track too but totally fits in SOUND. It's from the same sessions.

What I am saying is "Beautiful" does not. It sounds absurd, with the rest.
