I've said this many times. His next album is gonna be a response/answer to all the accusation that have been thrown his way. The words "I'll probably never get the props I feel I ever deserve" he said on TIC have never been truer.

I'm also pretty sure he's gonna address the grammies and the critics to a much bigger extent.

But, this can only happen IF Eminem is paying more attention to his fans and the internet or IF Paul or someone else is feeding this shit to him.

Hopefully, I'm right. Last night, I actually pictured how the next lead single could be. In my mind, it was extremely epic and angry :flutter:

I hope your right we could have another tes on are hands would be dope.

But i guess we will see if eminem is going to be innovative and actually do all this or will he just play it safe and not start more drama.

Thanks.

Question is what site does paul look on does he even know about trshady or does he use some other eminem forum for looking for fan reaction.

I think he's been petty lost since The Eminem Show to be honest.

And he's pretty much acknowledged that himself. On "My 1st Single" for example when he says "tryna pick-up where The Eminem Show left off" and... in a recent interview said he hit a roof with that album and got depressed thinking he would never write another "Lose Yourself" again etc. I think even he felt it was his peak, at the time. Which contributed to the downfall.

The Eminem Show is a perfect combination of every element of his mind and artistry. I seriously doubt he will reach the heights of it again but, I think the only chance he has on a music front is to produce himself, preferably alongside the Bass Bros. Boi-1da and Just Blaze are just not going to tap into his sound or provide a quality enough backdrop to top what he's done. In any sense.

I love Relapse (bar two tracks) and really like Recovery too (bar some of the production). But... I don't think he's had any idea where to go next and that's because he's painted himself into a corner by making his life the core focus of his work.

A lot of the broader fans didn't like Relapse because they're obsessed with his life 'the soap opera' and are not actually true fans of his lyricism or talent. So, they were immediately disillusioned with Relapse. Now, I'm not saying everybody who hated Relapse is that, but just that I think there were a lot like that.

I don't listen to Eminem for the latest updates in his life, I listen because he's a breathtaking rapper. I want art, I want originality. If I wanted to know about drug binges or depression I'd sit down and think about my own life. I don't need somebody to repeat something, to relate to it, I find it pretty tedious and a waste of musical effort. Introspection is a waste of his immense talents (unless there's a unique twist or aim to it) and as for what next... I want him to put his mind into it and create true originality. He truly is out of 'life ammo' now, after using the pill shit for two albums back to back (though in opposite effect).

So, I really don't know what will come next. I just hope that it's not more waste of his skills.

Also he sums it up nicely in one of songs on eminem show soldier

"Full of controversy, until I retire my jearsey "
'Til the fire inside dies and expires at 30 "

basically he even thought he would lose his drive down the round after the eminem show.

i dont really care about the production on the albums...production on recovery was good enough for me...i get to sucked into Em's words to care to much about the beat. I.E. Not Afraid...beat sucked. It sounded something outta fruity loops. But Em killed it.

I think the part that took "Recovery" down a level for me anyways, was all the random samples...mainly the dude (idk who it was, if it was kobe everytime or what) on songs like "talkin 2 myself", "cindrella man", "going through changes", etc. The female ones aren't as bad and are great if it's a handful like he has almost always done.

but the dude on it was way too much. You aint Kanye...and believe me you dont wanna be Kanye, Em. Your waaaaaay better then that.

Get a Shady Records track on your next album with Yela and Slaughterhouse, get D12 on a song, get Dre and maybe one outside the family guest (Jay-Z, Tech n9ne, Kid Cudi would be great IMO). Do the rest yourself with some female vocals here and there.

and try to lay off the "shoving _____ up ____ ass" lines.

Ok I liked Recovery :y: Relapse was cool too, His vocals were layered very well on Relapse. Just one album disappointed me with the production and samples and the other just was hit and miss. I think we were so used to Em just having such complete albums early in his career that he has to work with our high expectations.

What can he seriously rap about now? I'm actually happy he still has ideas coming into his head. He could rap about Detroit some sort of inspiration track in that sense.

or some political track although I am not sure if he is updated much about the latter. I remember thinking Encore would be some Political masterpiece before it came out  I heard We As Americans and Mosh I think before Encore was released and thought that was the direction it was going. Especially after White America and Square Dance, his verse in Rap Game for 8mile. Wasn't I in for a nice surprise

Agree with you Geno that he has to produce the next album. I think the next one will be the final one. I hope it will top Recovery. It can and should. Just needs a nice mix of tracks. Emotional,Shady style humor,Horror without the accent I guess and just spazzing even if he has to shout at least I know he can flow good over his own production. If he cuts down on the punchlines and does the above I think it would be a good all round album(For me).

Hope these new signings to Shady will help inspire him too. Would rather he take his time with it too. Just not as long as Detox :sweating:

I'm not Eminem and by my limited knowledge on him as of right now, I can come up with a few concepts for his tracks.

Eminem should be able to rap about brand new things in this album. I think, we're all in for a big surprise when his next album drops. I HOPE, I'm right :sweating:

It's really disappointing actually.

What do you think he'll be like on his next album?

Well, I wouldn't read too much into that. Encore was the follow-up to The Eminem Show, so it's kinda obvious he's trying to pick it up from there.

I wasn't reading much at all into it - just that it implies it was on his mind and it's evident from a lot of the Encore material. It's almost like he gave up on topping TES so fucked around.

In recent interview he stated that he knew at the time that he felt like he hit a roof with TES. So, seemed like he didn't try to top it but rather, made some good tracks then fucked around.
