Recently, his beats have been far to complicated. The lots of layers, and too many instruments seem to clash with his style or something. Look back at the SSLP, MMLP and the Eminem Show. The beats are far more minimalistic, and it really works. Some parts of the beats are just breaks, with no music playing at all, and it really gels together well.
I realise he wont be working with the bass brothers again, but maybe someone like Premier could help? Would be insane to hear those two on a track. But producers like Alex da Kid try to make his beats far too fancy for what Em actually needs.
What do you think?

Em has been producing alot lately. We will see 1-2 beats by him on Cashis new album in April-May
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.

I love Alex Da Kid's beats tbh. Especially the one for Airplanes. That is AMAZING!
But yeah, I think the beats in some of his more recent songs have been detracting from the actual rapping. But I'm fine with Em experimenting from time to time. I hope to see him produce more of his beats in the future.

Totally read the title of this wrong at first.. 
But yeah I prefer the beats from his older work they're more memorable and suits him a lot better rather than the complicated beats nowadays
