Sia x Flo Rida x Eminem

Wild Ones Pt. 2

But seriously I don't mind her voice. No clue what direction this song will go and I was really surprised to see her on the album (even just on a deluxe song)

It all depends how she's used, just like any of the other artists he chooses to put on there. Also depends to what extent she's used, she could be on there very little like a "Spend Some Time" type contribution or it could be more like "LTWYL" with a full blown chorus. If used effectively, like most of the featured artists, it could be great! You never know tho, I feel for example both Eminem/Pink collabs have been disappointing considering what the two of them should be capable of in a collab with one another.

I had no idea she was the one who sang Titanium. She has a great pop, singing voice and Em found a hella way to fuse it so let's see what we get.

Tbh Sia's music is alternative pop. She has a good voice only started doing hooks a year or two ago. I guess you could compare her to skyler grey I'm that way even though there music is a lot different. I posted her hook on the hilltop hoods song 'I love it' the other day. Her best hip hop hook imo, check it out if you haven't heard the song.

Sia's an interesting one. She's been on all of these pop songs with David Guetta and Flo Rida (and has co-written many more), yet she has a powerful voice and doesn't seem interested in the fame at all. She refuses to appear in any of the videos for the songs she's featured on because she wants it to be about the song, not the artists.

I think it sounds like the kind of concept (blind assumption from the title and a female feature I know, but still) which should be nowhere near MMLP2...

It's almost like he has no real... I mean, obviously from "Rap God" he is truly trying to re-stir some of those themes (the true provocation, the commentary on censorship, hip-hop homages)... but I mean, it's like he can't commit to a FULL vision now...

I wouldn't doubt him if the "Survival" hook didn't make the album.

But seriously, just guessing @ what "Beautiful Pain" might be... regardless of its content, if it's any kind of straight-up introspective song with a broad female hook... that is not in any way MMLP... anything. So if there's that kind of 'balance', he may as well not have called it MMLP2...

Because the point of the original is that it's NOT balanced.

It's back to front artistic bigotry. Which is why it is a masterpiece, and why Relapse nearly was.

Ever since TES, Em has been trying to 'balance' albums, you can even tell by his preview of the Rolling Stone article @ 'it needs this' and with his moves like making Yelawolf do that bullshit 'bitches track'... like he's designing a product by committee.

Until he stops doing that, I fear we'll always be going "oooh, nearly". The 'ooh, nearly' feeling we keep getting is him trying to balance it with needless tracks / not committing to vision.

She has a nice voice but of what I know she mostly collaborates with pop artist. But i do think she has a really powerful voice and could end up being a great song.

This is what I was talking about in my last post and I posted it in another thread the other day but here it is again if anyone's interested now that I'm on my computer. Hilltop Hoods song with Sia on the hook, great song imo, I imagine Beautiful Pain will be a lot darker though.

Sia is very capable of a serious or dark hook. She doesn't always do some David Guetta types of songs, or pop stuff. Her serious stuff is actually very good. Looking forward to this.
