8.Marshall Mathers
9.Drug Ballad
10.Amityville
11.Bitch Please II
12.Kim
13.Under the Influence
14.Criminal
15.Kids

MMLP2
1.GroundHog Day
2.Legacy
3.Rap God
4.Brainless

11.Monster
12.Rhyme or Reason
13.Berzerk
14.So Much Better
15.Desperation

I took the 15 songs I made in my best/worst thread and am putting them up with the MMLP 15. Not to say they are equal or that 2 is better than 1. But that they are closer in quality than I think any of us could have hoped.

The difference between Stan and Bad Guy is similar to the difference between MMLP and MMLP2.

It may be the hype and the fresh sound (I really hope it's not), but MMLP2 > SSLP, imo.

It really lived up to the original. Represents it very well.

I believe this anyway, the music is much more interesting on MMLP 2. And if I'm being honest he's a far better rapper on here. He was a better entertainer on SSLP though.

It's probably just hype.

SSLP is old and everyone has listened to it a billion times. It's easy to forget how amazing it is.

I reaaaally wouldn't say it lived up to the original.

Interesting album, but MMLP2 has no artistic vision or consistency... it's just a selection of good individual songs, paced and placed well.

MMLP is a single-minded masterpiece; a set of consistent themes, ideas... Em is the same character track to track, the album has one purpose and it hammers it in to your brain, yet each track feels distinctly different and unique.

And there's also more wit and originality in a single MMLP verse tbh.

I like MMLP2 but it's not even in the same discussion or close to MMLP1.

Same discussion maybe, but not close to it.

Nah not even the same discussion tbh...

MMLP2 feels cohesive due to the great production quality and track placement. Nothing more.

MMLP feels unbreakably consistent due to the unbreakable head-to-toe artistic vision which was carried ingeniously through every single line and moment of the album.

Where as... going from the attitude of "Rhyme or Reason" to "Headlights" makes MMLP2 much more pedestrian and yet again just a collection of good-great songs. There is no overriding bind.

If Embased enjoyed music as much as he picked it apart he'd be alright.

I pick things apart. I have high standards, I analyze things more than most.

But Embase is just a tl;dr wall of text of unsatisfied mess.

Now go make a thread about how good the Eminem Show is. And how you miss Em being like that.

What a pathetic cop-out lmao.

All art is equal then?

I enjoy MMLP2 and have since day one - just because I'm not going to pretend it's perfect or a masterpiece or not comment on the positives AND the negatives doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it.

Stop being such a child.

I don't miss TES either. And don't want him to be like that.

I never want him to sound the same.

So get your facts straight as you have me confused you presumptuous fool.
