About Evil Twin and MMLP2

I'm not really feeling evil twin. The hook and lyrics are great but what made his first 3 albums great was that the beats always elevated what he was saying and with evil twin the beat just sounds boring. Theres been alot of talk over what made his first 3 albums so great and I think it's cos they felt for lack of a better word cinematic. Mmlp2 is the closet we have got to a completely great album from him but I feel he still hasent captured that feel thatmade him so great, but he's getting close I think. Maybe it was the drama in his life that made his old music so good? thoughts?

The lyrics were up and down throughout the song. But it's a pretty good song.

I think he could have done more with that beat and evil twin concept.

i understand what the OP is saying. Its still a hard song but next lp , i need straight dre and bass brothers. Loved what rubin brought here but its good for a 1 and done.
