I think it was the rap-olympics.Where Dre heard his tape,I think.It everywhere says that Eminem get on second place.Who was first?

Yeah, got mixed up with Scribble Jam, I was wondering this before too actually, I just thought that Juice beat him twice, because I hadn`t heard of anybody else beating him. I also think I heard it said before that Juice beat him twice.

Forreal? I thought Dre heard Em on the radio when he was freestyling... At least I think thats what Em said in a skit on a mixtape.

ok here's wat happened Eminem came in second place at the 1997 rap olympics well the second place prize was to freestyle on a L.A. radio station anyway Jimmy Iovine was in L.A. listening to the radio station that Eminem was freestyling on an he taped Eminem's freestyle and gave it to Dr. Dre and Dre got a hold of Eminem and invited Shady to meet up with him so they met and Dr. Dre signed him to Aftermath Record's
