yeah, and I don't think someone could really freestyle that lol, he definately wrote some of the lines before, or even maybe wrote it all before... I don't think it matters that much tho, it was originally for a radio appearance I think, and people just labeled it as freestyle since it was live on the radio

but about the lyrics, tash

"what he says in the song means he's going back to his old days, but then a year later he goes back to his new days? WTF?"

I don't think he talks about something like that in the song :sweating:... what lines are you talking about exactly?

Ain't shit goin on. Shit I been gettin' so bored latley
I'm thinking of doing some shit to get you to go hate me again
To tell the truth I like the shit better then
Shit I could spit better, about to kick that sick shit again
Look, the game just ain't the same its changin
Shit Dre's quittin', Jay's quittin', now it just wankstas
Just sayin' the same shit, its fake and its ancient

that's what i'm talking about haha :D

oh ok, now I get what you mean lol... I thought you said in the song Em said something like he's going back to his old days, but then a year later he goes back to his new days :sweating:

by the way, I think this "freestyle" was made a few months before Encore... and many people considered this to be the end of the good old Slim Shady, after that came Encore and we all know what happened after that...

He never used that in another song, he does have two versions of it though. And yes it was definitely written, but that doesn't take away how great this freestyle is, the lyrics and flow, are among his best yet in a freestyle (there are many types of freestyles, not gonna go into it). I prefer the "got it twisted" version though, this one is to remastered for my liking, I prefer the live feel. And the way the people in the background flipped out to the end part was great to hear, it was obviously their first time to hear it. I know it's cliche to do that, to big up a fellow artists freestyle, but you could hear on this that it was genuine amazement.

One of my favourites, this and "Emulate" with Obie.

yeah, i like 'got it twisted' more than 'fubba u cubba cubba'. any1 got it not from the mix tape where the beginnin an the end is gone.
i like 'emulate' too :)
Ted Bundy did it, John Gasey did it, Jeffery Dahmer did it, Jim Baker did it, Jimmy Swaggart did it, Lil Rick did it... And why me can't do it? :confusion:
