lyrically thats all bullshit, i mean complete bullshit, the guy isnt even using the proper jargon to sound sophisticated and clued up on lyrical rap. "thats a double double, thats a quadrouple quadrouple" i mean what the fuck ? he sounds like a confused maths teacher.


now eminem did not "bring this to the table" like the guy tries to put across(well he actually says it). eminem embraced the theory of this, yes, and yes he does it extremely well hes one of the best thats not at question, but he did not bring it to the table, by my knowledge rakim brought it to the table, then alot of rappers embraced it before eminen, Biggie, Jay-z and Nas to name high profile guys. eminem actually embraced the theory from rakim, but was more pushed by the way nas did it, thats why in "infinite" alot of people complained he was too much like nas.

the guys a obvious groupie with a brain and puting across bullsihit.

also he says when talking about simplier raps that the rhymes dont go with the theme of the song, and there forcing it. now i love the SSLP, but how many songs are random fiction ? one line completely irrelevent from the last ? coz its more than half if its not a random fiction song its just a lyrical excersice were again concept is very very thin (bad meets evil, i just dont give a fuck) im not knocking him im just saying this guy has a selective perception, coz i love the songs, but this guy just annoys me.

the voice thing...omg eminem can change his voice and put on different voices...hes genious shit loads of rappers have great delivery and variation, eminems just one of them.

"multi" sounds retarded to me and honestly sounds amateur-ish. at least with the way this guy explained it he's actually pointing out the amount of syllables. multi doesn't express the complexity of the "multi". if a guy has a two-syllable rhyme scheme through a whole song, that's multis through out. like-wise, 4 syllable rhymes are multis. but being that both cases are multis, it makes the 4 syllable rhyme scheme look underrated. and no the word "multi" is not a requirement when explaining it the way he was. as DQ said, the aa bb cc stuff is poetic. and "multi", to my knowledge, is not a poetry term. people on this forum throw that word around like it's the coolest thing since sliced bread. "that guy had sick multis" "his multis suck" well if you'd be specific on what you want out of a rhyme instead of just "multi" it'd be easier to understand your point of view.
