Yeh, while his mentor is the godfather of the west coast, If you look @ his influences: Biggie, Pac (born in brooklyn i consider an east coast rapper with a west coast style), Beasties, Run-DMC, nas, Jay-Z, i think even Rakim. All those guys are from the east coast. Then in the west cost u got dre, eazy, NWA.....
