well you all heard of his moms new book and they have a article on mtv.com about it on the front page and i was readin threw it and it was pretty wierd something came up to me and ill tag it

During his rise to fame with The Slim Shady LP in 1999, Eminem was so strung out on drugs and alcohol that he later confessed to his mother that he couldn't recall much of anything about that year — not his hit singles, his concerts or even his first wedding to his on-and-off first love, Kim Scott.

could that be the reason his music started to change that he just doesnt remember what he does???

Great read, thanks for the post. Very interesting to hear her side, but who knows what is true and what's not, and that means from both Em and her. Either way it seems his whole upbringing was fucked up, and I bet the cerebral hemmorage and the drug abuse over time did fuck him up a lot with memory ad what not. Who knows, maybe once he got off drugs that's why he went all burps and farts on Encore.

i suspect he still uses drugs from time to time...i doubt its anything like what he use to do but the majority of people in the entertainment world use...its part of that lifestyle..
or it could be some sort of mental illness..bipolar maybe?

Not really believing his mom...Obviously she's a liar, plenty of people have spoken out about her parenting...but it is sort of apparent that he has some kind of mental illness...it doesn't take a doctor to see that..especially with things like pouring water on that playmate's head at the video shoot with akon and the whole incident with his niece when the cops got involved and now someone is sueing him for the bathroom fight.

^ a line by eminem, im pretty sure he accepts drugs had a huge affect on how he rapped. when you on a drink/drug (i never done hardcore drug slike him so its obviously not as big an effect) your head gets messed up for a couple of days after you stop aswell, you dont feel or think right, and when ya out ya box and write music you get crazy wacky shit like the track brain damage, put that with a naturual ability to rhyme and BAM you got slim shady lp

to me all of his albums are totally random. encore has toy soldiers then my first single?
drug use makes mental illness a billion times worse and even after the drugs have worn off and the person has sober time, it can still result in long term damage.
