Apparently, we aren't the only ones who thought Eminem should have stopped acting after 8 Mile. He must have thought so too. Aside from an episode of Crank Yankers (remember that nasty puppet show?) and a voiceover in the 50 Cent video game Bulletproof, he seemed to have retired from film. But now there are reports that he'll be returning in a big-screen adaptation of Have Gun — Will Travel. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

What the fuck? 8 Mile was one of the best Urban movies to date. Everyone that listens to Hip Hop watched/liked that movie when it came out. And you don't like a movie if the main actor is shit at his role.

this is the stupidest argument I've heard.

Did he not have to alter his mood to fit a scene? did he not have to recite lines? Did he not have to use emotion to capture a moment? Did he not have to do everything any other actor had to do, to make a movie successful?

The only thing I could think of the gave him an edge would be the rap scene, not many other actors can pull that off as well as he or other rappers would have because he is a rapper.
