Ive always liked MMLP better, i grew up listening to it a lot so i guess that could be a reason i like it so much.

I'm going with "The Eminem Show" just because it was more personal than anything. A true emcee doesn't just spit random lines that sound good, but they express their deepest thoughts with ease; and I think this album proves that. I loved "The Marshall Mathers LP", it's what first got me listening to Em, but his style and versatility was simply incredible on his 3rd album.

The Eminem Show is great for a certain mood, and The Marshall Mathers LP is great for a different mood.

All depends how your feeling. Sometimes I think SSLP is the best and sometimes all I feel like listening to is Encore.

Both are amazing, but TES is just overall a better full album, mmlp was raw and insane, creatively amazing, but tes just idk every song was fire.

^ I agree with that long ass statement. Makes sense too, and something I never thought about. I do relate a lot more to the TES, and I guess that makes sense why. Shit is still relatable today. I still listen to Say Goodbye to Hollywood most days, that songs just always got shit to relate to how I feel, and songs like Whit America are more broad while he still talks the truth about his past and shit, Sing For the Moment too, I listen to that song often, it's just more real. And the mmlp was more gimmicky in the way you mentioned, he again went on his lyrical fucking assault and said crazy shit, that is amazing because of his rhymes and emotion. Good point man :y:

Sing for the Moment, Till I Collapse, Cleanin Out My Closet, White America, Say Goodbye Hollywood, Superman, Hailie's Song, etc. That shit doesn't get old 'cause it's real. Songs like Criminal isn't real. I love that song, but he talks about shooting a dog in there and hiding his penis and clucking like a chicken. I can't fucking relate to that song. The only emotion I get is laughter, which is nice, but I'd much rather appreciate the truth.

I think I'm in love...lol.

Overall, TES is better in my opinion. Any verse on every track is impeccable. The album has so much meaning.

However, my favorite songs (Stan, The Way I Am) come from MMLP.
