I guess it would have been slightly bigger, but as is it was pretty well received. The 8 Mile Soundtrack also already came out around the same time as the Eminem show so it wouldn't have made him any more popular.

But he had like 3 HUGE singles from that CD. I could see if it was the same type of "1st Eminem Single" hip-pop type of shit like My Name Is and The Real Slim Shady would have been, but they're pretty different songs.

But overall he would have lost money and the 8Mile soundtrack probably wouldn't have done as well.

What? Of course you can. And it's a good thing. Example: FutureSex/LoveSounds. Really successful record and it had like, what, 5 singles off it, which were all huge. You can definitely have 2 hits on one album.

But specifically speaking about Em, The Eminem Show was already a huge success, and the 8 Mile Soundtrack was a huge success, so if Lose Yourself was on TES, we'd just look back and be like "wow, TES has huge songs on it." I don't think the success of the album would be greater, because it already did so well regardless.
