I'm gonna give explanations as to why i chose what i chose.
1. As The World Turns - the storytelling is epic, the imagery is so perfect. Not to mention it's hilarious, the beat is sick and the chorus is surprisingly catchy considering. How many songs can you mention where the character hangs around outside a laundromat to pick up women, gets chucked through the window by one, chases her back to a hotel, finds out she's a lesbian and then fucks her to death?
2. Stimulate - easily his most under-rated song. Driven by the crazy beat, his raps flow amazingly and the lyrics are just complete MMLP material. Multies galore. And the hook is brilliance, esp. using the reversed sample.
3. Say Goodbye Hollywood - A song i feel is rather overlooked, being a kinda middle track on The Eminem Show. The beat is catchy as fuck, but the lyrics are insane. The fierce delivery compliments the angry lyrics so well, and the multies he goes into are brilliant; the last "never would of rapped" multi sequence in particular i find to be one of the best things he's ever rapped.
4. Sing For The Moment - Another song that makes me believe TES was the peak point for him. The sample works great, and the lyrics are just full of anger and truth. A must hear.
5. Yellow Brick Road - Another bit of evidence for his skill as a storyteller. The beat's unique, as is the delivery. The way he talks so vividly and clearly works great. But what i love most about the song is the third verse; the way that the 3rd verse extends past the others, kicking in from the slamming of a basement door. Epic.
