But seriously... the song's not whack. Even had it been leaked a week ago it still wouldn't have been whack. I mean look at it mechanically. The multies are there in a way they haven't been for years, the rhyme scheme is hot, the flow is there, mechanically it's a great, comedy song.

Only things he fucked up on were the beat (which I hate like hell), the voice, and the god forsaken fart sound.

It's the chorus for me James. I must have listened to the song a good 30 times today, something like that.. and just before the United game tonight I tried rhyming/singing along to it and I actually couldn't remember the chorus I was a little tipsy at this point but still.. I personally think the flow and the multies are insane.. it just ins't that memorable.

i agree with all that except about the beat. i liked the beat. but you're right, you can't say his rhyming wasn't dope in this song.

I'm with James R. and others on this that I believe that this song is technically not too bad. Granted, as has been previously said, the voices (and the fart...the damn fart) bring it down a bit for me, but I personally liked the beat. Just listening to the lyrics though, I think that judging this song as "whack" is sort of overkill. LYRICALLY, I don't think it's too bad. Sure, the content and delivery could've been better, but it's a first single--this is to be expected.

The capability demonstrated here isn't too discouraging to me, in terms of whether or not Relapse will be bad. While this song is NOT an accurate representation of the album (God, I would hope not) in my opinion, the skill that was still demonstrated leads one to think that it could very well be possible that Relapse will be worthwhile.

And for those of you here that absolutely hate the song...that's cool too, and I understand. However, this is still Eminem, who can put out singles referencing such lewd and offensive content without making anyone even bat an eyebrow...that hasn't so much changed, it's just the method in which he's presenting himself. So, I hope for us all that he takes the lyrical dexterity that he has always possessed and puts it to use on the album--minus the voices and the fucking fart sounds.

I just really don't understand why Em would release this after 4 years? Whether he wants to acknowledge it or not, this is his big comeback. And he comes out with this? Really? REALLY??? I'm still in disbelief.

And okay, so the beat is hot. It's Dre. Of course it'd be hot. And the hook is catchy. Well, you know what? So is fuckin' Soulja Boy's Kiss Me Through the Phone shit. And yeah, Em has rhymes in the song. Fucking great because we all knew Em couldn't rhyme random ass shit before
