What was so bad about Encore?

I am new to this forum so i wasn't around when it came out, but everyone seems to be sayin it was a bad album. People also diss Rain Man which i thought was mint. Ok i hate ass like that but it had some quality tracks. Still cannot choose between MMLP and TES for my favourite album though.. what was up with encore?!?

It wasn't at all a bad album, it was great, its just when people compare it to the previous albums its a little less as good.

problem with encore is that em tried to change a style lil bit,a lot of farting,puking and strange accent(indian or whatever)..It had a few very good tracks but it cant really compare to any of his other albums,not a close

wel for one just lose it was on, one of his worst songs ever(in my opinion ). Basically the album just didn't feel right to me, it didn't feel like a eminem album(sounds daft I know ).
