Why does your voice sound so much like Steve Spag's? lol. Are you Canadian?

First, a LOT of the structure / flow / emotion of this EP sounded like a mesh of songs from GLU... I think that goes without saying, though.

I wasn't in to most of the songs, to be honest. I don't know, just to me, the emotion didn't sound right for what you were saying.. It sounded really forced. I mean, I can tell that when you wrote the lyrics you really meant them, but it feels like you lost that hatred / sadness before you recorded this... Do you get what I mean? Like you were tryna feel it, but it just wasn't there.


The one song I really liked, though, was 'Red Water'. Everything about that song was great. From the instrumental, to your emotion / lyrics, to the sampled hook. Great stuff. If the entire EP sounded as good as that song, I'd be very impressed with this.

Also, as side not/question: Why does the guy on the second verse of 'If You Listened' sound mad gay? I mean, he sounds like Jeffrey Starr... lol

Overally, this was 'okay'. I'd give it a 2.5/5 if I were to rate it. Simply because a lot of stuff didn't seem to mesh well together. But, like I said: Red Water... .Awesome.

I wrote/recorded all this while the breakup was still happening. And no disrespect to Spag but I don't sound like him, haha. I HATE that comparison. And yeah, I'm Canadian.
