What Up, I Just Got A Laptop And Im Trying To Set My Recording Hardware and Software Up To It, And I Got Everything But It Records The Beat With My Voice So I Need To Know How To Mute The Stereo Mix, But This Computers Different So I Need Realtek HD Audio But I Cant Find The One I Have On My Other Computer, So Does Anyone Know How To Help Me? And Can Anyone Reccomend Any Other Software That Can Help Me With This

lol well i got professional headphones, its not the mic or the headphones its the computer i guess, i jus need to know how to mute the stereo mix

you have the mic plugged into the sound card right ?


ok right click the volume at the bottom right were it shows your program, form there you need to go into sound devices or sound properties somehting like that, then go into advance options ( somehting along them lines ) then there should be somethign saying stereo mix..just click mute..and it should do it... hopefully

or set you recording program to record from the mic and not record from the soundcard

^^ thats how the settings are on my desktop comoputer but not my laptop but ill try to get it to record from the mic like u said
