Hi everyone - I haven't posted for quite awhile. I thought I would share this with you and I appreciate feedback. It's not done yet, I plan on having a different artist who is pretty big feature on the third verse which is why I would love feedback to know what you think I should change.

Yo, good to see you back on here, dude.

The beat is pretty cool. Nice vibe.

First verse, you start out kinda weak. What I mean by that is when you say "Great Commission" you sort of pause and stretch the word "Commission". Maybe if fit another syllable before those two words, it'll flow better. It just doesn't sound natural as it is. Also, you keep the same intonation and tone for the first 6-8 bars. Maybe it's just me, but maybe at the end of the "... show that He's Risen" bar, you can kinda go to a lower, darker tone and it'll stand out more. It gets to the point of where you want your voice to sound different (as a listener) but you keep on the same tone as if you're building up to something but you never reach the pinnacle (lol, no pun intended). If you like, change up your voice just a bit on the end of some lines where it feels like you should just break out, do it. It really brings an edge and gives the listener a hook instead of just trailing off into the distance of your voice as you keep the same pitch and whatnot. Unless I'm just being nitpicky.

Hook, I see you didn't change the normal voice we talked about. That's fine, it actually sounds good in the context of the verses coming in and out from the hook. It's fine.

Second verse, I love the slow-ish hesitance to it. And it's nice because you're talking about where some Christians go wrong in blasting sinners. I thought it was a nice touch if you did it on purpose.

Yeah, after I laid down the verses I thought the hooked fit in better with them. As for the second verse - Yup that's exactly what I was aiming for. I'm glad you got the concept!

I really liked this song. The beat was pretty good, set the mood for the track. Your flow was smoove as man, I didn't hear one slip up which is good! Wasn't really feeling the chorus that much, the vocals would've sounded better if they were a little more deeper, but that's just my opinion.

I don't really fuck with Christian rappers but you have an impressive perspective on it, that a lot of rappers can't tackle originally.
I've enjoyed a lot of your other songs, and this isn't too bad, but I know you love God n stuff and you really believe - otherwise you wouldn't be making music about it lol - but I'd like to see you expand on your concepts, like whether you just become social conscious or you become so gnarly, gritty, hardcore rapper with a message hidden in your punchlines and metaphors or whatever.
