New Beat - [NEW][UPDATED]

Hello,

This is a new beat I just made . I know that the loop is very short [5 seconds] But a average bar for me is about 5 seconds, so please don't just comment on that.

once again, typin while listenin.

u should add somethin else to it. it sounds empty, almost like its one huge intro. the chorus.... the second half of the loop sounds like random notes thrown in to make the loop longer.

overall, pretty good, the melody is nice but you should add another melody with another instrument to it to make it sound complete.
why didnt u put drums in this one?

thanks, i'll add another instrument to it, maybe strings. the reason with no drums.. is because I didn't want it to be an upbeat beat, but rather a relaxing beat.. it had kicks and a tom.. but yea thats about it.. I just wanted this to be a calm beat

i have 2 agree with hadez on this 1 it is good but if it had drums 2 it i would use this cause as is, it seems a little basic

your loop doesnt have to be the length of a bar if its not off beat. look at "No Apologies"... the piano loop was quite long, lasted more than a bar.

the drums were ok, better than previous attempts at doin drums. but it did sound a little more complete. good job, practice, and keep it up.

Thanks, I'm thinking of using the melody for another beat and add a bass or something to make it more "rap" styled.
